"America Remembers - A Musical Tribute"

Gary Alexander (AMC Intl. LLC) is the producer and a cast member of "America Remembers - A Musical Tribute". The approximately two hour live performances feature music from the early through mid-1900's as well as a patriotic salute to America' and the US Armed Forces, both past and present. The cast includes seven musicians and features Arizona's favorite vocal trio the "Uptown Angels." "America Remembers - A Musical Tribute" is an Arizona based production that is sponsored by local merchants so that 100% of the donations received from attendees can go directly to support wishes granted by the Wish for Our Heroes charity.

    November 13, 2011 - Love of Christ Lutheran Church, Mesa 

The debut performance of "America Remembers - A Musical Tribute" was held at the Love of Christ Lutheran Church on Sunday, November 13th (Veteran's Day Weekend). The Church is located at 1525 North Power Road, Mesa, Arizona 85205. Admission was free and show was sponsored by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Over 300 people attended the show. 100% of the donations received will go to directly to deserving US Military personnel and their families through Wish for Our Heroes.

Armed Forces Support Group - Patriot Angels

Love of Christ Lutheran Church, in conjunction with Wish for Our Heroes has established a military support group named the "Patriot Angels." Family members, friends and other members of the community are encouraged to participate.  Individuals do not need to be members of the Love of Christ congregation to participate.

WISH FOR OUR HEROES

Wish for Our Heroes is a 501 (c)(3) foundation established for the purpose of granting wishes to deserving active duty men and women of the United States Military and their families. The primary objective of the Foundation is "to relieve the burdens of family separation, re-integration for deployed US soldiers, hardship circumstances, and additional means of assistance not covered by existing government agencies and foundations."

Wish for Our Heroes was founded in November, 2009 by Jeffrey Wells in the memory of his father 1st SGT Thomas G. Wells.

The largest corporate contributor and chartering sponsor of Whish for Our Heroes is the Phoenix Group, an Indianapolis and Houston based company that provides supply-chain services for the automotive, retail, oil, health care and construction industries. The Foundation is guided by a four (4) member board of directors and operated by 10 part-time volunteers.

Wish for Our Heroes Arizona- Gary Alexander (AMC Intl. LLC) has been named as the Region Coordinator for Wish for Our Heroes  Arizona and the US Southwest Region. The formal date of the Arizona organization's founding was July 1, 2010.
