Phoenix Wish For Our Heroes Phoenix Wish For Our Heroes is a 501 (c)(3) foundation established for the purpose of granting wishes to deserving active duty men and women of the United States Military and their families. The primary objective of the Foundation is "to relieve the burdens of family separation, re-integration for deployed US soldiers, hardship circumstances, and additional means of assistance not covered by existing government agencies and foundations." Wish For Our Heroes was founded in November, 2009 by Jeffrey Wells in the memory of his father 1st SGT Thomas G. Wells. The largest corporate contributor and chartering sponsor of Whish For Our Heroes is the Phoenix Group, an Indianapolis and Houston based company that provides supply-chain services for the automotive, retail, oil, health care and construction industries. The Foundation is guided by a four (4) member board of directors and operated by 10 part-time volunteers. The foundation relies on the generosity of corporations and individuals to grant as many wishes as possible. For more information on the Foundation and how you can contribute, please visit the Wish For Our Heroes website at www.wish4ourheroes.org.
